Vision Boarding: Creating Pathways

We all know the value of goal setting - whether in our personal or professional lives. Using visual images when setting goals is even more powerful as visualising something already establishes new neural pathways in the brain.

By creating a vision board (based on your goals) you are taking the first step in connecting goals with outcomes. Hanging these vision boards in a highly visible place (whether at work or at home) allows you to regularly remind yourself of your goals, which - again - stimulated neural pathways.

We use vision boarding as a tool for strategy sessions, creative thinking, progress reviews, and team development sessions  to ensure that common goals are supported by shared imagery.vision boarding creates neural pathways

The  value of visualisation...

... lies not just in the end result but in the process of discussing goals with team members and coming to an agreement around what these goals should look and feel like.

Working with images also stimulates the right brain, making it a useful tool in creative thinking sessions.
