The Cape Leadership Centre was started in 2004 as the collective brain child of Tim Wigham and Anthony Shave, two former Royal Marine officers who saw a need and opportunity to develop people through an experiential approach to leadership.

Integrating foundational principles from their military experience, they identified a suitable venue and built a professional obstacle course to assist with the experiential part of their approach. Using this venue, they worked with business teams as well as national sports teams, helping them to optimise their performance.

Today, the Cape Leadership Centre is operated by Tim and Angela Wigham. Our approach, course offering and tools have been refined and developed over the past 6 years, but leadership and personal development is still central to what we do.

We strongly support the “lead from any chair” philosophy (Ben Zander) and strive to empower each and every individual within your company to realise their personal potential and lead within their circle of influence.
